Tasting note

Wafting from the glass with complex aromas of tangerine, pear, toasted macadamia nuts, freshly baked bread and white flowers, the NV Extra-Brut L'Extra Or Dégorgement Tardif is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and sapid, with a concentrated core of fruit, racy acids and a fine, pearly mousse. Concluding with a saline finish, it's a blend of a perpetual reserve spanning 2003–2016, and it was disgorged in June 2021 without dosage. It's a terrific effort from one of Champagne's most underrated producers.
