Tasting note

All three plots, in Les Treux, Quartier de Nuits and Champs Traversin, picked and vinified together to total just 2.5 barrels. Two thirds whole bunch vinification has been used, which gives it a bouquet which I love. There’s so much more detail to keep sniffing at. Amélie Berthaut’s 2019 Echezeaux delivers a savoury finish on white pepper, but in between there is a hauntingly fine, really elegant, detailed perfumed fruit, with cherry and raspberry notes.
